I discover the Italians of Eris Pluvia' with their latest album 'Different Earths' and however it is a group which had already released an album in 1991 and 'Different Earths' is their third record (if you want more detail, read the very good review on profilgprog here). They evolve in a symphonic and atmospheric progressive style that makes you travel in climates close to bands as 'Pink Floyd', 'Genesis' or 'Camel'. To hold a title, I would say 'Heroes Of The Dark Star,' composition of more than 10 minutes in the tradition of progressive with multi-parts which slot together. In summary, even if the Italians of Eris Pluvia' don’t revolutionize this type of music, 'Different Earths' is a very pleasant album to listen and relax after a hard day's work and it will certainly be appreciated of any aerial and calm progressive music lover...
