3 young Poles, 17, recorded their first studio album 'First Mind'. They evolve in a classic progressive rock and for their age, we can already feel a certain maturity with melodic compositions and accessible from the first listening. After, a short instrumental introduction 'Flight', 'Factory', of more than 7 minutes reveals a style close to the psychedelic of the 70s and makes me think of some titles 'Floyd'. In some titles like 'Lady with No Real Name', we are more in the 80s/90s with influences of rock bands like 'U2' by the melodic side. The following shows us quieter titles like 'Normality', 'First Mind', 'Not Enough Trust' or 'Death', where they mix acoustic and electric instruments with quality arrangements. In short, even if on some titles, the melodic lines are still lacking variety (let's not forget that they are only 17 years old), this 'First Mind' is an album more than promising and we can only wish them the best for their career continuation... | |
