More than 70 years old, after 'Alone In The Universe' in 2015 (see here) and a world tour in 2017 with the very nice live at Wembley (see here), multi-instrumentalist 'Jeff Lyne' is releasing a new album 'Jeff Lynne ELO's - From Out Of Nowhere'. Lovers of 'ELO', you will not be disappointed because we find all the world of this English and this intact talent for simple melodic compositions but so effective between melancholy and serenity with a little taste of seventies. Moreover, we can’t be wrong, the spacecraft that appeared in 1977 with 'A New World Record' is still relevant on the covers of his last two albums and from the first title, the eponym one of the album, let's go again for a trip back in time with a first melody and vocal arrangements that brings you back to the legendary albums of the 70s and this impression is confirmed on titles like 'Help Yourself' or as 'Down Came the Rain' reminiscent of the 'Discovery' period or as the 'One More Time' with the rock-like sounds of the sixties or the joyful 'Time of Our Life' or through of the two ballads, first of all 'Goin' Out on Me' with a taste of 50's and then 'Songbird' which closes the album with beautiful melancholic melodic lines. Note that some titles are not recent because Jeff came them out from his cartons, first, 'All My Love' to the tune of wetcoast and the ballad 'Losing You' which has already several years.

In short, 'Jeff Lynne' continues to enchant us with compositions that take us a few decades back and beyond the historical fans, 'From Out Of Nowhere' is intended for the general public and is to consume without moderation...
