'Aresea' is a new Italian symphonic metal group that is inspired by Greek mythology and the Sicilian origins of its members. 'Fabio Gallo' is the composer also orchestrating and producing and 'Chiara Di Mare' (under her real name 'Kyrah Aylin') is the female singer who is the author of the lyrics. 'Retrospection' is their first album which is actually an EP with 6 tracks that already allow to realize the quality of this new project. From the first title, 'Enlightning Lullaby', the symphonic side prevails largely on the metal side because although we are entitled to a few guitar riffs, the whole is quite light and we get closer to bands like 'Eynomia' (see Here), 'Blood Red Soul' (see Here) or 'Chrysilia' (see Here) to name just three that released albums few time ago. All compositions are accessible at first listen and the melodic and unambiguous vocal parts put forward the aerian song of 'Chiara Di Mare' and the ballad 'Beyond The End Of Time' is a good example. In summary, with 'Retrospection', the Italians of ‘Aresea’ released a promising first EP that should appeal to all lovers of symphonic metal with a female singer...
