I introduced you a while ago the last album of the trio 'Supersonic Blues Machine' (see Here) and it's only a little over 2 months after that the guitarist and singer of the band 'Lance Lopez' released 'Tell The Truth' which is already his 7th solo album. In line with the previous 'Handmade Music', he offers us 11 tracks in the great tradition of blues-rock that feel good authenticity in the manner of a 'Joe Bonamassa' or a 'Walter Trout' and he knows surround himself with artists with whom we feel a real joy to play together. At first, with 'Never Came Easy To Me', the tone is given with a catchy title where the harmonica gives the replica to the guitar and where you can not help but move your head in rhythm. With 'Down To One Bar' and 'High Life', guitar riffs become rougher and release communicative energy. Follow 'Cash My Check' and its swaying rhythmic reminiscent of the great rock bands of the 60s/70s with the 'Stones' in mind. The following alternates titles as energetic and others more calm and melancholy songs such as the magnificent 'Raise Some Hell' and 'Blue Moon Rising'.
