'Colors' is the 7th studio album of the multi-instrumentist 'Lee Abraham' who has become known in the neo-progressive sphere and his latest opus 'The Season Turn' was well received by the trade press. With 'Colors', he turns to a melodic rock with influences of formations like 'Toto', 'Asia' or 'Foreigner' as for example the first eponymous title of the album with a classical couplet/chorus and its beautiful guitar solo. To record this album, he called on a group of guests, including several singers of the progressive scene who come to bring their personal touch and diversify the whole. Note the latest composition 'The Mirror Falls' of more than 14 minutes that sums up well the album and despite its length, mix classic AOR and some incursions in a neo-prog style in the middle of the title. In summary, with 'Colors' with an impeccable production, 'Lee Abraham', surrounded by artists of quality, offers a very good album of melodic rock accessible to the greatest number...
