A few days ago, I presented 'Nth Ascension' (here) and 'Darrell Treece-Birch' is simply the keyboarder of the band. His latest solo album 'No More Time' is close to 'Nth Ascension' with more marked influences by artists of the 1970s in a more psychedelic atmosphere. After the narrated introduction, the instrumental track 'Riding the Waves' makes me think of a subtle blend of Uriah Heep' and 'Pink Floyd'. If we gloss over the singing, the next ballad 'Hold On' is closer to compositions of ‘Elton John'. The follow up is consistent with the beginning, quiet and airy titles like 'Twilight', 'Mother (Olive's Song)', 'The River Dream', 'Music Of the Spheres' or through 'Music of the Spheres'. In summary, with 'No More Time', 'Darrell Treece-Birch' signs an album very accessible to enjoy with headphones in a quiet and intended for all lovers of melodic and atmospheric progressive music...
