At the dawn of 2020, 2019 was full of live, so here is the list of myprogmusic chronicles of live in styles very different from each other, ranging from folk to metal through to progressive rock. To this first list, for a fortnight, will be added other live released in 2019 but which had not yet been the subject of chronicle.

It is with 'Live at the Symphony' of 'Magnum' which dates from the beginning of 2019 that I close this list of chronicles of live 2019. The English continue their long career since 'Kingdom Of Madness' which was their first album is already over 40 years old (1978) and 2018 saw the release of 'Lost on the Road Eternity' (see here) and they are releasing their new album today ' The Serpent Rings' (see here). With this concert, the last album 'Lost on the Road Eternity' is well represented ('Peaches and Creams', 'Show Me Your Hands', 'Without Love', 'Lost On The Road To Eternity') but also they drew on their long career for a sample fairly representative of all their albums. We can note the participation of 'Tobias Sammet', the leader of Avantasia 'who often calls on' Bob Catley '(see his latest album here) and who sings on 'Lost On The Road To Eternity'. In summary, this live show of 'Magnum', more than 40 years after their creation, shows that they are still doing very well and that, even if they never reached the notoriety of formations of the 70s like 'Deep Purple 'or' Uriah Heep ', continue to offer us a quality and accessible hard rock to a relatively large audience...
