'Pamela Moore' who was known as one of the performers of 'Queensryche' metal opera in the late '80s also released solo albums and 'Behind The Veil' is her third album. For this, she surrounded herself with talented artists of the metal scene with among others 'Rudy Sarzo on bass ('Quiet Rot', 'Ozzy Ozbourne') and 'Casey Grillo' on drums (‘Kamelot', 'Queensryche'). In a rather dark and nostalgic atmosphere (the album was made just after the death of her mother and was somehow an outlet for this painful ordeal), she offers us 10 different titles, starting with the powerful 'Rise' and his catchy chorus then 'Sickness' and 'Beneath the Woodoo Marsh' take over for 2 black titles where she shows all her vocal talent. With 'My Eternal' and 'Slow Burn', it is an alternation between tension and relaxation where Pamela shows a true authenticity in her interpretation. The second part of the album takes us into a powerful and crazy 'Wi Fi Zombies', a mid-tempo trainer 'These Scars', a beautiful acoustic ballad 'Just Breathe' and a magnificent power ballad 'Run' to close the album. In summary, with 'Behind The Veil', 'Pamela Moore' releases an original and very emotional album that should appeal to all fans of a heavy metal combining power and authenticity...
