It’s already the 4th album of the Frenchman 'Cyril Mokaiesh' and he’s only beginning to be known in the hexagon. Certainly, he must embarrass some people and he’s not politically correct enough !! The web in this case allows this kind of artist to express himself and this for our greatest pleasure. 'Clôture' is a strong album in words and Cyril continues to engage with for example this first title 'The law of the market' in duet with 'Bernard Lavilliers' where he denounces our capitalist society and always this talent to transmit the message by words that reach the target every time (like this magnificent: 'At Liddl, the pack of beers has suicidal impulses'). And, not to fall completely into denunciation, he knows how to modulate his talk by proposing other lighter texts like 'Houleux', '32 rue Buffaut 'or 'Une vie' where he knows how to convey an emotion in melancholy texts. We can also note the last spoken title 'Closing', a real disturbing poetic jewel that he describes himself as 'a mini testament that has nothing to bequeath' with a magnificent musical theme in crescendo that accompanies the words and which all grab you. In summary, 'Cyril Mokaiesh' is part of this generation of artists like 'Tagada Jones', 'Matmatah’ (see Here) or 'Lazuli' (see Here) who live their music without concession and who prove to us that it is possible to leave the preformatted system of major companies to deliver a sincere and committed message...
