Being Bisontin original, it's a shame but it's Spotify that made me discover 'Human Song' with this first album 'Blue Spaces' which was released in April 2018 and which includes all the compositions since their beginning: the single 'This Is Not a Song for War', the capture of their live at the ‘Gouffre de Poudrey’ (which is a vast and deep underground chamber near Besançon) and new studio compositions (some are taken from the live). Even if they call their style 'post-alternative rock', listening to the live (see the video that render very well the ambience), the atmosphere gives me the impression to return a few decades back with the 'Pink-Floyd' debut (especially in the rhythm part) with this search for new sounds to do something unique. Reading their background (for example Jane has a classical lyric training and one of the drummers comes from the metal scene), we obviously feel multiple influences that mix and the result is a planing and atmospheric music where the sweet voice of Jane brings a hypnotic and airy side. It is certain, this originality is not inevitably accessible immediately and requires some listening to tame their universe but, in the end, this first album 'Blue Spaces' of the French of 'Human Song' is quite bluffing and is a beautiful escape moment to enjoy quietly the headphones on the ears...
