I discovered in this beginning of 2017 The Dutch of ‘The Aurora Project’ who released end of 2016 their 4th album 'World Of Grey'. From the first listening it is a familiar sound and a lot of progressive’s groups come to mind to describe their influences : 'Pendragon', 'Arena', 'Pallas', or even 'Marillion' or 'Saga' and of course 'Pink Floyd'. This latest opus is a concept album about the manipulation of humans by some strength with the organization of resistance by a small number (the trailer of the album on Youtube is perfect). About music, we find a very classic progressive side and we could make a witness album of this style over the 40 last years for an audience who would like to discover this kind of music. In addition, the sensitivity of the voice of 'Dennis Binnekade' brings a great feature and reminds me of 'Alan Reed' of 'Pallas', the kind of singers who live their music. In short, it is for me an album without weak point that should delight all lovers of progressive and enough accessible to recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this type of music...
