Between rock and metal, the Italians of 'Mastercastle' are already releasing their 6th album since their creation in 2008. The female singer 'Giorgia Guelglio' always leads the dance and the 9 tracks are divided between dynamic compositions like 'Drink Of Me', ‘Space of Variations' or 'Hot As Blood' and other quieter like 'Wine Of Heaven' or the beautiful ballad 'Black Tree's Black'. Also we can note 2 covers, a rework of the cartoon 'Castle in the Sky' and its melancholy theme with electric guitar without distorting the original theme and ‘Making Love’ from 'Yngwie Malmsteen', which 'Giorgia Guelglio' beautifully appropriates. In short, with this 'Wine of Heaven', 'Mastercastle' offers us a good album with very melodic titles, assimilable quickly and, although it’s close to metal, should please a large audience... | |
