I go back for a 2016 released with 'Xavier Boscher', an French author, composer, singer and multi-instrumentist who has behind him an impressive work with several solo albums but also projects in different bands such as 'Nebuleyes’, 'Twins' or 'Magnific Sense' (look at its website which is very well done). He describes himself as doing pop-prog-metal and yes, the 8 titles take us between soft melody where the piano is the main instrument ('Metronome Céleste' or the beginning of 'Pentagramme') to titles supported by guitar riffs guitare (‘Le corps des femmes’ ou ‘Les voyageurs du temps’) through rich and worked compositions alternating calm and more sustained parts with changes of rhythms always well brought ('Géométrie Intime' ou 'Quinacridone'). In short, Géométrie Intime’ is one more stone to the already 'Xavier Bosher' busy career and is an accessible album to discover this artist who should deserve to be recognized by a greater number…
