Not easy to find information about the Italians of ‘Hadeon’ who just released their first album at the end of 2017 and which was added on Spotify early 2018. And yet, this 'Sunrise' is filled with good surprises for progressive music lovers between rock and metal. It starts with the energetic 'Thought' n 'Sparks' and its breaks of rhythms that we could compare to some compositions of 'Pain Of Salvation' (see their latest album Here). Then, comes the melodic 'Chaotic Picture' alternating powerful and quieter parts that approaches the style of 'Threshold' (see their latest album Here). The following is the image of these first two compositions, characteristic of a rich and varied progressive metal : constructions in drawers, breaks between calm and energetic parts, catchy melodic passages. And if we had to remember only one title, I would say 'Sunrise' of more than 10 minutes which perfectly sums up the album with all the ingredients mentioned above and a magnificent finale. In short, this first album 'Sunrise' is a very good surprise for this early 2018 and we can only wish the Italians of ‘Hadeon’ that they quickly meet the success they deserve... | |
