There are albums that you discover through a video clip and this is the case with the title 'Change' from the Poles of 'Let See Thin' which had already been available for several months and which had touched me deeply, both musically and visually, the kind of video which, the last chords past, asks a few seconds to regain its senses and come back to reality to digest all the emotion conveyed. And then, at the end of 2020, they released their first album '2 Years 2 Late' which takes us into a committed progressive rock that reminds me of the atmospheres released by 'Roger Waters' in these different albums with strong compositions that mark, the era that we live in certainly giving even more force to this kind of opus.

It is with 'Herald' and its marked rhythm that the album begins and we are immersed at the outset with the very expressive and theatrical singing of 'Łukasz Woszczyński' in the original universe of the Poles, the musical style of this title making me think of a kind of fusion between 'Tears for Fears' and their composition 'Shout' and the tormented side of 'Roger Waters', then, 'For the Future' also prints a certain emotion even if, musically, the melodic lines are much more catchy. Follows 'Time' which softens the subject by offering us a swaying rhythm in a more calm atmosphere with a melody which is embedded in our head and with a modulation of intensity between verses and choruses, then, 'Change', which I talked about above, unfolds its urgency character with a remarkable vocal performance by 'Łukasz Woszczyński' and a very nice 'Floydien' guitar solo in the second part and, 'Leave', which follows suit, returns to the quieter atmosphere in the style of 'Time' with a heady chorus and a rhythm section reminding me of a certain 'Phil Collins'. With 'To The Stars', we continue in this atmosphere mixing refined progressive rock with neo-progressive reminding me of certain sounds of the Germans of 'RPWL' just like the title that follows, 'Keep Calm', which rocks us to the rhythm of a hypnotic melody which is reinforced by the reverberation effects in the voice and the album ends with 'Mist' which was the subject of a new video not long ago (which you can see above) and which again highlights this talent for building beautiful images in their compositions, this time with a magnificent artistic aspect, the musical structure of this title using a repetition of the main theme while playing on variations of intensity which brings this emotional force that we find throughout the album.

In summary, the Poles of 'Let See Thin', very discreet on the web, offer us a very promising first album which takes us on a beautiful musical journey and '2 Years 2 Late' should appeal to an audience that likes an expressive and melodic progressive rock accessible from the first listening and which releases a great emotional force...
