Only a few months after their last studio recording 'Brothers in Arms' that I put in my playlist of myprogmusic summer chronicles of 2022, supergroup 'Sunstrom' release an album of a live studio session that was recorded when the band got together to film promotional clips for the songs from 'Brother In Arms'. The result is this 'Still Roaring (Live)' which sees the quintet performing songs from their various albums. The latest opuses are well represented since 'Brother In Arms' has four compositions and the penultimate album 'Afterlife' two, the last four tracks being taken from other albums, 'This Is My Heart' from the self-titled album from 2006, 'Never Give Up' from 'Emotional Fire' from 2012, 'Edge of Tomorrow' from the album of the same name from 2016 and 'Road To Hell' from the album of the same name from 2018. And not to do things by halves, a video of the entire live was also made, the link being available above by clicking on the youtube logo.
In summary, this live film is a great gift for all 'Sunstorm' fans who, a few months after the release of the last album, can put between their ears a performance under the concert conditions of these different artists made up of the best of the best of the international melodic hard rock scene... | |
