Funny name for a musical project : ‘Kant Feud Kafka’ !! Don’t worry, the music has no connection with philosophy but is simply the result of a joke between friends. This project is the fruit of 'Javi Herrera', author/composer who releases his second album 'Onirico' and makes us travel in a progressive symphonic world where a large number of styles and instruments coexist. Therefore, you must love the diversity to adhere and several listenings are necessary to penetrate the universe of Javi. For example, 'És Quan Dormo that hello Veig Clar' of more than 10 minutes begins with religious vocals with contemporary paces accompanied by an organ; It follows a part beginning with guitar riffs in a progressive style of the seventies and then the rhythm accelerates for an instrumental part where the guitar leaves a place to a keyboards solo; The following transition brings us back to a style that reminds me of the 'Renaissance' band (the song reminds me of ‘Annie Haslam's special voice) and where the violin then reinforces the symphonic and romantic side to finally give way to a last sung part which ends in some piano notes. To summarize, 'Onirico' is an excellent album to discover gradually to appropriate little by little all the nooks and crannies and intended for a public open to a mix of different styles and atmospheres...
