In this selection of the latest melodic rock and hard rock albums from the end of 2022, it is again a formation from the Nordic countries that is in the spotlight with the Swedes of 'Remedy' who released their first recording studio in December 2022. It is the guitarist 'Roland Forsman' who composes for other groups who is at the origin of this new project and who had the time to compose quite a few titles during the last years of the pandemic this which allowed him to put some aside to release this 'Something That Your Eyes Won't See'. Mixed and mastered by 'Erik Mårtensson', another well-known Swede ('Eclipse', 'W.E.T.'), it's no surprise that we can put ourselves between the ears of the melodic hits which are 10 in number for 40 minutes of listening. We therefore spend a very good time listening to this opus and the first four titles set the tone of the album with catchy rhythms and melodic lines that get into your head very quickly. Between these energetic compositions, the ballad breaks are not forgotten with the two melodic jewels that are 'Sundays In Silence' and Lifeline'. In short, Sweden continues to deliver good melodic hard rock and this 'Something That Your Eyes Won't See' has just been added to the long playlist that I had concocted for you for the rock and melodic hard rock albums of 2022... | |
