After the very good 'Sunbound' in 2017, the Finns of 'Brother Firetribe' who now have a new guitarist in the person of 'Roope Riihijärvi', 'Emppu Vuorinen' now being very busy with 'Nightwish' but who is still credited with two titles, released a new album 'Feel the Burn'. No need to make you languish, it smells good AOR with melodies which are embedded in your head immediately and as usual, the balance is perfect between the keyboards of 'Tomppa Nikulainen' and the rather softs guitar riffs, the vocal harmonies being always so remarkable. Each title deserves to be mentioned but, in short, I will give you my favorites with these addicting choruses that give this irresistible desire to accompany them like 'Chariot of Fire', 'Bring On The Rain', 'Ticking Away' or this melodic jewel with a tempo marked 'Battle Ground' or the lively 'Rock in the City' which beautifully closes the album, 'Love Is a Beautiful Lie' being to add to the best AOR ballads and the luminous 'Candle in the Window' bringing a beautiful positive energy.
In short, with all the releases at the moment of melodic hard-rock, we are still well spoiled with this last baby of the Finns of 'Brother Firetribe' who offer us unstoppable melodies which destines 'Feel the Burn' to a public in love with AOR and which is to be consumed without moderation... | |
