'NeversiN' is an Italian band that releases its 3rd studio album 'The Outside In'. Their style mixes rock, hard-rock and progressive with compositions that are influenced by the big rock bands of the last 40 years. After the instrumental introduction 'When Darkness Fall ...', the first compositions are fairly classic with a conventional couplet/chorus construction and we navigate between energetic rock tracks like 'A Storm Is Coming', 'Rage, Pt. 2' or 'Life Preserved ' wich is a little reminiscent of 'U2', and ballads like 'Rain' or 'Evenstar', the whole with melodic lines that catch on first listen. In contrast, the last four compositions are only one ('Symphony of Light') and show a slightly more progressive side of the band with a construction of a symphony with its 4 movements where each party brings its atmosphere while keeping an immediate accessibility, the last movement of 8 minutes closing in a very beautiful way the album.
