If you are a bands fan like 'Freedom Call' or 'Feuerschwanz' or that you are inconsolable for hearing the news that the Swedes of 'Falconer' were parting ways, well, I have a foolproof remedy with other Swedes, in this case the formation 'Tungsten' which after a first album 'We Will Rise' in 2019, release a new studio recording called 'Tundra'. This project was created by drummer 'Anders Johansson' (ex 'Hammerfall' whose last live is available on spotify), and with the Johanssons, we make music in family because he called on his two sons Niklas and Kalle, respectively guitarist and bassist / keyboardist, the singer 'Mike Andersson' completing the line-up. No need to make you languish, even if our Swedes are not going to revolutionize metal in general, they take us into their universe made of hits of melodic metal which are made to become embedded directly in your brain and which continues to spin indefinitely in your head all day long and this with a mixture of electronic tones with overdriven guitar riffs. Therefore, if from the outset, you are not sensitive to 'Lock and Load', go directly your way, and for the others who have get caught up in the game (of which I am a part, it feels good to from time to time between the ears of addictive melodies like these), get fun by listening to songs like 'King of Shadows', 'Tundra' or even 'This Is War' which should be all the rage in concert and if you want to catch one's breath, listen to the beautiful ballad 'Life and the Ocean' which is to be added to the best metal ballads. In short, no need to add more, this 'Tundra' is a happy stick of dynamite which will put you in a good mood all day long and which should appeal to an audience loving a power metal with addictive melodies that turn and return in loop in the head...
